Proper Pool Water Balance

Keeping your pool water balanced will help ensure the efficient operation of your pool chemicals. Will reduce and eliminate any harsh chemical reactions with skin or eyes and will keep build up of hard materials in your system to a minimum

The Three Areas of Balance

Alkalinity.  Total Alkalinity (or TA)  should be tested monthly and the reading should indicate 125 -150 ppm (parts per million) Alkalinity may be adjusted by using an increaser or decreaser

Calcium Hardness should be tested bi monthly and the test results should be 175-225 ppm . For low CH used a hardening agent. For high CH use a sequestering agent to bring the levels back into the nominal range

pH  should be tested twice a week and should be between 7.2 and 7.8 in the reading scale. To increase pH use a pH plus product, to decrease the pH use an pH minus product
